Dinner with Winemaker Pierre de Benoist of Domaine de Villaine

Sommelier Christopher Lindemann welcomes winemaker Pierre de Benoist of Domaine A. et P. De Villaine for an evening of Burgundy wines from the Côte Chalonnaise. The Domaine was born when Aubert de Villaine, renowned director of the legendary Romanée Conti, chose to settle his family in the more modest terroirs further south, eventually making his nephew director. Now on his first trip to South Florida, Pierre will present five single vineyard wines, paired with a four course Burgundian dinner by Chef Jarrod Verbiak. The unique, terroir-driven wines will include the benchmark Aligoté from Bouzeron, Rully Blanc St. Jacques and Bourgognes Rouges La Digoine & La Fortune.
